The 4 youth wrestlers brought home 6 medals between them. Braden Crawford of Guthrie is preparing for a match (left), Shortie Stewart of Guthrie in the top position in collegiate (center), and Zane Winkelman of Guthrie is setting up a throw in a Greco-Roman match (right).
The 4 High School aged athletes made a strong showing of upper body strength with their crowd-pleasing throws. Upcoming Senior Chris Shea and upcoming sophomore Cole Orndorff earned 4 medals between them. Sapulpas Austen Phillips and Edmonds Richard Lopez earned 6 medals between them. Coaches Brian Orndorff and David Cairns teamed up with Oklahoma University wrestler henry Martinez to clench the 2nd place team award in all 3 disciplines of wrestling.
